The American Music Landmarks Project is excited to participate in the fifth annual National Historic Marker Day, now National Historic Marker Weekend, taking place Friday, April 25th through Sunday, April 27, 2025! We are grateful to the William G. Pomeroy Foundation for establishing this special occasion which will, for our fourth consecutive year, give us a unique opportunity to offer help to those interested in connecting with music history related sites in their own communities. The AMLP is keenly dedicated in its public service mission to cultivate broader awareness, appreciation and active stewardship of the places that shaped our collective music history.

Visit the Pomeroy Foundation’s official National Historic Marker Weekend webpage to learn more, register and download your volunteer kit. Participation is free for individuals and groups alike and there is a photo challenge this year!
